unspeakable loss and destruction

Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine that began in February 2022 has displaced millions of Ukrainian families and created the largest and fastest growing refugee crisis in Europe since the Second World War. It is estimated that 8 million people have fled from Ukraine and another 6 million people are internally displaced. Not to mention the tragic loss of life.

As the war continues to evolve, humanitarian needs are multiplying and spreading. With devastating damage to physical and energy infrastructure, many families are unable to meet their basic needs, including but not limited to clean water, electricity, heat, food, and medical care.

Ukrainian communities have shown great strength and resilience in the face of hardship, yet many individuals and families are in need of assistance and ongoing support.

the global reach of Rotary

Superior Rotary is partnering with Rotary Club Ukraine Unity of Lviv, Ukraine to provide funding for the purchase and delivery of humanitarian goods to Ukrainian communities in need. Donations will be used to fund water purifying tablets and filters, medical supplies, and electric generators.

Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem solvers who envision a world where people take action to create lasting change. The opportunity to connect and work with international clubs to fulfill joint projects is one of the great strengths of Rotary. This allows us to send funds and supplies directly to communities in need and make real change on the ground.

And now you can be part of that change!

Unite with Superior Rotary and the global reach of Rotary Clubs to deliver critical aid directly to devastated regions of Ukraine.
How will you contribute?
Ukraine Unity has worked to provide resources for a number of cities and towns in Ukraine, not just in Lviv where they are based. A quick photo was snapped during a drop-off of medical supplies to the Central District Hospital of Berdychiv, a city in northern Ukraine.
Volunteers work with community members to set up a batch of filters for water purification (along with tablets for disinfection) in a community in the Kherson Oblast, a southern region of Ukraine.
Rotary volunteers spend long hours preparing pallets to be delivered. This is one of six pallets sent on May 11 to a hospital in Kharkiv, a city in northeast Ukraine.
