4 Way Test Essay Scholarship Recipient
Superior High School Student Nathaniel Furey is the recipient of Superior Rotary's 4 Way Essay Scholarship this year.  In his essay Nathan discusses the impact thoughts, words and actions have on our lives and the lives of others.  He states: "What you think, do, and say are the very foundations of our lives...This shows
it is all the more important to watch what we believe about our thoughts. What better way to do this than implementing the 4-Way Test? Is It True? Is It Fair To All Concerned? Will It Build Goodwill and Friendships? Will It Be Beneficial To All Concerned? Asking ourselves this before believing or acting upon our thoughts can improve our mentality.  This leads to a change in our thinking and consequently our words and actions too." Ambulance Arrived in Ukraine!
This ambulance, paid for by members of the Superior Rotary and the community was filled with medical and humanitarian supplies. Thank you to everyone who contributed to his effort.  We can make a difference to save lives and relieve suffering.
Thank you to JC Clapsaddle (far right) from Rotary Club of San Antonio TX for assisting us in our campaign.  He and this crew drove the ambulance in a convoy of 8 vehicles that made the trek of approximately 1,300 miles from the UK to Lviv.  Click here to see JC's message from Lviv.
This is the first phase of our ongoing campaign, Twin Ports Unites with Ukraine.  We look forward to additional assistance to Ukrainians in conjunction with Rotary Club Ukraine Unity.   Click here to donate to continue the save lives!

Superior Rotarians Celebrate at Rotary Club of Rice Lake's Centennial
Bob McClellan and Robyn Ling attended the Rotary Club of Rice Lake's Centennial Celebration where they had the pleasure of meeting Rotary International President  Gordon McInally and his wife Heather.  Rotary Club of Superior sponsored the Rice Lake club in 1923 when a delegation of 25 members traveled to Rice Lake to "celebrate charter night with a dinner at the Elks Club in a manner at once fitting and impressive."  At the centennial celebration Bob and Robyn present the club with a congratulatory letter from our president Sue Heskin, and a check for their centennial fundraiser. Congratulations Rotary Club of Rice Lake on 100 years of service to your community.
Ukrainian communities have shown great strength and resilience in the face of hardship, yet many individuals and families continue to be in great need of assistance and ongoing support. Superior Rotary is fundraising to support Rotary Club Ukraine Unity, based in Lviv, Ukraine, in providing humanitarian goods to areas across Ukraine. Donations will be used to fund water purifying tablets and filters, medical supplies, and electric generators.
